Dr. Roberson was drawn to dentistry because he saw that it would allow him to take great care of his family while also helping people daily. Always straightforward and down to Earth, his mission is to take all the stress out of the dental experience so that his patients are able to get the care they need without encountering the typical hassles and annoyances they’ll find at corporate dental offices. He looks forward to changing the way you think about dentistry, but first, you can learn a little more about him below.
Dr. Roberson grew up in the medical field—his grandfather was one of just two physicians in their rural community, and his father was a veterinarian. While he was interested in going into healthcare, Dr. Roberson wanted to choose a field that would enable him to dedicate adequate time to his future family as well as his patients. He remembered that his own pediatric dentist was the epitome of a caring professional, and dentistry seemed to offer the perfect work-life balance that he was looking for.
After graduating from Louisiana Tech University, Dr. Roberson earned his dental degree from the LSU School of Dentistry. He then completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency afterward.
To stay on top of the latest advancements in the field, he is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Roberson’s main passion in life is his family, which includes his wife, Heidi, along with their three children, John David, Elise, and Julia. He works hard to be there for his kids in all aspects of their lives, whether it involves going to a game, being involved in church, or helping with homework. His father instilled in him a deep love of nature, and he strives to share this with his children. So, when he has free time, his favorite things to do include going hunting with his son, touring national parks, or taking everyone for a hike.
